All About Wendy

Wendy is a Los Angeles-based writer with more than 10 years of experience in several industries including travel, health and wellness, film and entertainment, non-profit and education.

During her time as magazine editor and copywriter with Stand Up To Cancer (SU2C)/Laura Ziskin Productions, Wendy shaped the organization’s content calendar leading up to their landmark live television show simulcast on ABC, CBS, FOX, NBC and more. Her articles, blogs and su2c.org copy reached millions of people worldwide and her social media strategies helped grow SU2C’s Facebook Fans by over 300,000 in under three months.

As one of the first few writers to launch the unprecedented MovieClips.com, Wendy wrote copy and descriptions for thousands of film clips helping make the site one of TIME Magazine’s “50 Best Websites of 2010” (Top 5: Music & Video category).  Writing and reporting for Peter Greenberg Worldwide (Mr. Greenberg is Travel Editor for CBS News), and Film Independent (home of the Los Angeles Film Festival and Independent Spirit Awards), she has interviewed high-profile subjects across the travel and entertainment industries and written several in-depth feature articles and case studies appearing on line and in print.

Wendy is currently the Media Officer with PETA (People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals) in Los Angeles.
